Check out the Woodbridge Library!
This library has been in existence since 1940, but it hasn’t always looked the same.
In 1969 a rear addition was added and then further expansion happened in 1999.

The Children’s Department is upstairs. There was a small space before you entered where the upcoming programs were displayed. This area boasts a coffee machine! You, and your coffee, are encouraged to sit and pause, breathe, or maybe even think for a moment.

The Children’s department, like the rest of the building, is bright and cheery. They were abundantly stocked with books of all genres, shapes, and sizes.

Had we arrived at this library, we would have been able to witness the hatching of some chickens. I guess we will just have to settle for a quick peek and pet.

Who knew?
Just when we thought we had seen it all, just as we were about to leave we noticed a hallway that we had initially missed. The Friends Bookstore Alley was a delightful addition to this charming library. Books can be purchased here, in the Alley, for a small donation.

This was a great library and one that we might just return to in the near future.
Oh, and of course, we did not leave there empty handed.

What library should we check out next?
Be sure to follow along.
